Punjab IAS Transfers – Two Officers Swapped as DCs

Chandigarh, May 5, 2026 (Yes Punjab News):
The Punjab Government on Tuesday ordered the transfer and posting of two IAS officers with immediate effect on administrative grounds.

Poonamdeep Kaur (IAS 2013), serving as Deputy Commissioner, Faridkot, has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur in place of Rahul Chaba.

Rahul Chaba (IAS 2017), serving as Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur, has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner, Faridkot in place of Poonamdeep Kaur.

The government has directed both officers to join their new places of posting immediately.
