Jaspreet Singh, in-charge sub-inspector of Tibba police station, said that a written complaint was received on October 16 regarding molestation and molestation of a minor girl. Seeing the seriousness of the case, the police registered a case under the POCSO Act and various sections of extortion with immediate effect. The police has arrested the accused peon after conducting a quick raid. During interrogation, the accused has confessed his crime and a legal investigation is being carried out by the police.
