Putin spoke with Trump on the phone for 90 minutes in a war atmosphere, gave a special warning to the US president
The Iran war is still not over. In this situation, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke on the phone with US President Donald Trump for more than 90 minutes. The Kremlin made the matter public on Wednesday.
Kremlin official Yuri Ushakov told the news agency ‘AFP’ that the two heads of state discussed the Middle East and the war in Ukraine. But in the talks, both Putin and Trump focused on the situation in Iran and the Persian Gulf region. In his words, “Putin welcomed Trump’s decision to extend the ceasefire. According to the Russian president, as a result, both sides will have the opportunity to negotiate and the overall situation will stabilize.” However, Ushakov said that Putin also gave a special warning to Trump in the phone conversation. He said, “The Russian president has made it clear that if America and Israel conduct military operations in the Middle East again, it will cause danger to the whole world.” On the other hand, according to Kremlin sources, the two heads of state also talked about the four-year war in Ukraine.
It should be noted that from the end of February to the beginning of April, Iran-America was engaged in a bloody conflict. Iran was devastated by a series of drone-missile attacks. But Tehran did not withdraw from the fight. The entire Middle East was shocked by Iran’s response. US bases scattered there were initially targeted. But then Tehran started recklessly attacking various countries in the Middle East. Finally, after 40 days, the two countries agreed to a temporary ceasefire. However, permanent peace has not yet been established.
