R Ashwin on Ravindra Jadeja: Former veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has given a big statement regarding Indian team's star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. Ashwin has said this big thing after the first test match played between India and Sri Lanka in Galle. Team India defeated Sri Lanka by 165 runs in the Galle test match. Ravichandran Ashwin while speaking on his official YouTube channel said, “Ravindra Jadeja and Manav Suthar are completely different bowlers. Suthar's strength is the rotation of his balls. Whereas Jadeja bowls straight on the wicket and gives you control with his stock balls. I think Jadeja is no longer that attacking spinner. He is now a batsman who provides experience with the ball and I think he has adapted to this role. “Took it, which is not a bad thing.”

Jadeja's role has changed in Team India
Ashwin believes that the role of 37-year-old Ravindra Jadeja has changed in the team. Now he is no longer the main attacking bowler in the team who takes wickets, but Jadeja has become such an all-rounder who bats strongly in the lower order and when needed, puts pressure on the opposition team by stopping runs with his accurate bowling.

Manav Suthar led the spin attack in Galle Test
In the Galle Test, India had very experienced star spinners like Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav, but despite this, 24-year-old young Manav Suthar destroyed Sri Lanka's batting order in both the innings. Suthar broke the back of Sri Lanka by taking 4 wickets in the first innings. After this, he destroyed the Sri Lankan batting by taking 6 wickets in the second innings. In this way Manav Suthar achieved the feat of taking a total of 10 wickets in the entire match. He performed better than the senior bowlers.
Jadeja could not do wonders even with the bat
Ravindra Jadeja took a total of 4 wickets in both the innings, while Kuldeep Yadav could take only 1 wicket in both the innings. However, no runs came from Jadeja's bat. He was out after scoring only 13 runs in the first innings. After this, only 9 runs were scored in the second innings. He could score only 22 runs in the Galle Test.
