Raghav Chadha Security: Will Chadha get Z plus security? AAP raised questions – Our MP, why is the Center so kind?
The distance between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its once ‘poster boy’ Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has now reached a new and serious point. Taking a big step, the Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab has withdrawn the Punjab Police security of Raghav Chadha. After snatching the security of Raghav Chadha, who has been co-in-charge of Punjab and deputy leader of the party in Rajya Sabha, there is now a market of speculations in the political circles.
Saurabh Bhardwaj’s big claim, question on Centre’s kindness
This entire matter took a new turn when Delhi government minister and AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj made a shocking claim on social media (X). He said that Raghav Chadha is now going to get ‘Z+’ category security from the Central Government. He raised the question that when Chadha is an AAP MP, why is the Central Government being so kind to him? However, sources close to Chadha say that he has not yet formally received any security from the Centre, but it is likely that he may soon get the security cover of Delhi Police or any central agency.
Growing distance from the party and snatching away positions
Let us tell you that the rift between Raghav Chadha and Aam Aadmi Party started about two weeks ago. Then the party removed Chadha from the post of Deputy Leader in Rajya Sabha and handed over this responsibility to MP Ashok Mittal. Since then, bitterness is clearly visible between both the parties. The situation has reached such a level that the party has refused to even give him time to speak from the party quota in the Rajya Sabha.
Will Raghav Chaddha also leave the party?
This conflict within AAP is not new. Even before Chadha, about 30 big leaders had left the party, out of which maximum 15 leaders were from Punjab. Now speculations are also high regarding the future of Raghav Chaddha. There is discussion whether he is going to join any other party soon? At present, the discussion about withdrawal of security by the Punjab government and providing security by the Center has turned this dispute into a big political fight.
