Karnataka had a target of 358 runs to win, but Anvay and his fellow batsmen performed brilliantly and changed the course of the match.

While chasing the target, Karnataka team got excellent support from Anvay Dravid and Dhruv Krishnan. Wicketkeeper-captain Anvay scored 151 runs in 100 balls. His innings included 20 fours and three sixes. He kept the pressure on Gujarat's bowlers by hitting shots all around the ground. On the other hand, Dhruv Krishnan also batted aggressively and scored a century of 131 runs in 100 balls. There was an excellent partnership of 203 runs in 26 overs for the third wicket between Anvay and Dhruv. This partnership made Karnataka's path to victory easier. Both the batsmen did not give Gujarat bowlers a chance to make a comeback and the team reached the target at the loss of five wickets. With this win, Karnataka confirmed its place in the knockout stage.

Anvay Dravid's performance is continuously improving in the current season of Vinoo Mankad Trophy. Earlier, in the match against Chandigarh, he had scored 104 runs on only 62 balls.
