VIDEO- Rahul Gandhi-Akhilesh Yadav taken into custody during Congress’s demonstration at PM’s residence.
New Delhi. During the ongoing protest near the Prime Minister’s residence, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav have been detained and removed by the police from the protest site. All the leaders including Priyanka Gandhi have been removed from outside the PM’s residence and all have been taken in a Delhi Police bus.

Security arrangements remained tight during the demonstration and the police took action and detained many opposition leaders and workers. When Delhi Police personnel moved forward to take Rahul Gandhi into custody, he suddenly lay down on the road. After a lot of effort, the police picked him up from the road and forcibly put him in the car along with other opposition leaders present there and took him into custody. During this period, there was a heated argument between the workers and the police.
While sharing the video of the arrest of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on his ex-post, the Congress Party wrote, ‘Look at Modi’s dictatorship.’ The leaders of the country’s opposition are being treated like this.

Congress MPs are also being removed from the protest site. Along with this, Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has also been seated in the bus. Delhi Police/RAF detained Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during the protest near the residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Several Congress MPs and party workers were also detained amid the chaos at the protest site.
