Rahul Gandhi angry over paper leak: Said in Dehradun – NTA has become a ‘pyramid of corruption’, rate cards of examinations are being sold.

Dehradun. The political temperature rose in Congress’ ‘Students’ Echo’ program on Friday in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, when Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi directly interacted with the students. In this program organized at Bannu School grounds located at Race Course, the Central Government and the examination agencies of the country were directly targeted by Rahul Gandhi. Attacking the government on the issue of paper leak, Rahul Gandhi made very serious and shocking allegations regarding the education system. At the beginning of the program, tribute was paid to the recently deceased Congress leader Amar Mehta, after which Rahul Gandhi gave voice to the pain of the youth.

In fact, in this public meeting held in Dehradun on July 17, 2026, Rahul Gandhi made a scathing attack on the current examination system of the country. He National Testing Agency i.e. NTA is a pyramid of corruption relaxed me. The Congress leader openly said from the stage that in this whole game, ministries and big officers are sitting at the top, just below whom examination agencies like NTA are working. After this comes the network of mafia and brokers, who along with paper manufacturers, translators, printers and transporters are hollowing out the entire system. According to Rahul, the last link of this corruption are those coaching centers and examination centers, which are playing with the future of the youth at the grassroots level.

Africa’s leopards are visible, not the pain of youth: Rahul Gandhi

Taking a direct dig at the central government, Rahul Gandhi also raised questions on the priorities of the media and politicians. He said in a harsh tone that the cameras of the government leaders immediately reach the weddings of celebrities, even full coverage of bringing leopards from Africa is shown, but when it comes to the paper leak which is ruining the lives of lakhs of youth of the country, these cameras disappear. Rahul Gandhi warned that if the situation continues like this, a large number of fake doctors and engineers will start being produced in the country, which is very dangerous for the society.

Rate cards for examinations are being sold like menu cards of hotels.

During the dialogue, Rahul Gandhi called four students on the stage who had posters in their hands. Through these posters, the examination scams going on in the country were exposed. Rahul Gandhi said that just like there is a menu card for food in hotels, today the rate card for government jobs and entrance examinations in the country has been decided. He put the government in the dock by mentioning the alleged rate cards of NEET, JEE, Patwari recruitment in Uttarakhand, teacher recruitment in Bihar and inspector recruitment in Odisha.

3 big formulas given to improve the examination system

Rahul Gandhi not only listed the shortcomings, but also put forward three major solutions to reinvent the examination system:

  • Technology and Flexible Arrangements: Instead of conducting the examinations on a single day, the examinations should be conducted over several days. Question papers should be randomized using state-of-the-art technology, so that every student gets a different and random paper.
  • Ban on political interference and outsourcing: Outsourcing of examinations to private agencies should be stopped immediately and the government should take over the entire system. Impartial people without political affiliations should be appointed to the top posts of NTA. Along with this, there was a demand to remove RSS supported Vice Chancellors from educational institutions and a complete ban on privatization.
  • Compensation to students: In case of paper leak, the examination should be conducted again immediately and the affected students should get appropriate financial compensation from the government.

It is being told that just two hours before the program, there was heavy rain in the race course area at 5 pm, due to which there was water and mud in the ground. However, the workers and students got great relief due to the waterproof tents. During this entire event, factionalism within Uttarakhand Congress was completely absent and the entire organization appeared united. After the great success of the program, State President Ganesh Godiyal patted the backs of all the leaders and workers and thanked the entire team.
