Rahul Gandhi Dharna: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's dharna part-2 has started. Rahul Gandhi has sat on strike outside Sansad Marg police station. Today (21 August) Rahul Gandhi reached Sansad Marg police station along with pellet gun victim Sahil during the Jantar Mantar protest. He demanded registration of a case in the pellet gun case. When the FIR was not registered, they sat on strike outside the police station. Along with Rahul Gandhi, the aggrieved protestor Sahil and his mother are also sitting on dharna. Rahul Gandhi is adamant on the demand of registering an FIR and is sitting on strike outside the police station. The police is trying to persuade.
Let us tell you that on July 20, there was a clash between police and protesters during the Parliament march against NEET paper leak. The protesters claim that the police had used pellet guns during this period. Whereas Delhi Police has been denying this. Today Rahul Gandhi along with alleged pellet gun victim Sahil reached Sansad Marg police station in Delhi to lodge an FIR. However, the police immediately refused to file an FIR in the case. After this, Congress MPs sat on strike after the police station.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi reached DCP office to get information about the ongoing investigation regarding the use of guns during the CJP movement at Jantar Mantar. Rahul Gandhi came to get information about what has happened so far in the investigation of the case.
According to Delhi Police, the investigation of all the cases registered on July 20 is with the Crime Branch. The complainant has been informed that the investigation of the case is with the Crime Branch and this complaint will also be sent to it. Delhi Police has taken the complaint and has also informed the IO. This has also been told to Rahul Gandhi. The Crime Branch is investigating the FIR lodged during the CJP Protest.
Let us tell you that Rahul had raised the issue of use of pellet guns in the Parliament march of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) in the monsoon session of Parliament and had sought an answer from Home Minister Amit Shah. However, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju had said that the police had not opened fire. Rahul Gandhi wants to register a case against the policemen who fired the pellets. He first went to Mandir Marg police station and requested to register a case. However, when the police refused to register the case, they went to meet DCP Central. Two police officers talked to Rahul Gandhi in the DCP office in New Delhi.
Congress said- Amit Shah fired pellet guns on the children of the country.
Congress once again targeted Amit Shah on Rahul Gandhi's strike. Congress wrote on social media – Those who commit brutality on students cannot escape. We will get justice. Amit Shah fired pellet gun on the children of the country, in which Sahil suffered serious eye injury due to the pellet. Sahil and his mother were continuously going to the police and demanding to register an FIR, which the police was ignoring. That's why today the leader of the opposition @RahulGandhi Ji along with Sahil and his mother met the police officers and asked for information about the investigation.
Investigation number has not been given on Sahil's complaint, so that FIR can be registered. Sahil's MLC (Medico Legal Case) report has also not been given from AIIMS, which can be used in the complaint and FIR. This is sheer injustice. Amit Shah and Delhi Police should listen – this dictatorship will no longer be tolerated. We will continue to fight with full force for justice for the students.
