Food on land, decision on land: Instructions to start drinking water scheme soon
On the problem of drinking water in the hilly areas, he said – approve the project immediately and start the work on the ground.
Raipur News: Under Good Governance Tihar, a very intimate and sensitive scene was seen today in village Lokhan of Kabirdham district, when Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai went directly among the workers during the surprise inspection of the under-construction Panchayat building. His visit during the inspection was not limited to just reviewing the works, but became a living example of his easy connection with the common people and sensitive leadership. The sudden arrival of the Chief Minister created an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the workers working there and everyone welcomed him cordially. During the inspection, the women workers working there invited the Chief Minister for lunch with great affection and insistence. The Chief Minister immediately accepted this simple invitation and smilingly asked her what she had brought for dinner. The women told that they have brought traditional food from home – bore basi, paan purva roti, chana bhaji, charota bhaji, munga badi and aama (mango) chutney. Hearing this, the Chief Minister decided to have dinner with him with the same ease.

The Chief Minister sat on the ground among the workers and took food from their tiffin. While tasting Bore Basi and Aama Chutney, he said that this food is linked to his own lifestyle and culture. While talking to the labor sisters during the meal, Chief Minister Sai also tried to understand the ground reality of the implementation of government schemes. He took detailed information from labor women about the benefits of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and other public welfare schemes. Women also shared their experiences openly, which gave the Chief Minister direct feedback on the actual status of the schemes.

When the Chief Minister asked about the major problems of the village, the women told that due to it being a hilly area, the problem of drinking water remains constant. Bore wells and hand pumps do not remain effective for long, due to which the water problem increases further during summer. The Chief Minister took this problem seriously and directed to take initiative towards its immediate solution. The Chief Minister took information regarding drinking water system from the Collector on the spot. The Collector said that a special drinking water scheme has been prepared for 26 villages of the area, under which there is a plan to provide water from remote water sources through pipelines. This scheme is technically ready and can be implemented soon. Giving clear instructions, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that this scheme should be approved as soon as possible and work should be started on the ground, so that the villagers can get relief from the problem of drinking water. He said that the real meaning of good governance is that the government schemes reach the common people on time and effectively. The Chief Minister made it clear that our good governance government is working with full commitment to solve public problems.
