According to Raj Kundra, during the investigation of a case related to obscene material in the year 2021, he was called to the police station for questioning. He says that after reaching the police station, he got information about his arrest through social media. When he asked the police officer present there about this, he was confirmed with the arrest order.
After his arrest, Raj Kundra had to stay in jail. He told that the circumstances were very unusual for him at that time. His business was also affected and according to him at that time around four thousand people were associated with his business in India. Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty also got information about Raj's arrest through news.
According to Raj, Shilpa had a big challenge at that time to handle both family and business. He told that Shilpa had decided to close the business because the circumstances were not normal. Raj remembered that period as a sudden big change in his life, when on one hand he was active in business activities and on the other hand he suddenly ended up in jail.
He told that during his stay in jail, he got information that Shilpa Shetty was allegedly planning to separate from him and get a divorce. This news was very disturbing for him. According to Raj, at that time he was already going through mental pressure and uncertainty and this news increased his anxiety further.
Raj said that he felt that there was nothing more important in his life than his wife and family. After the rumor of divorce surfaced, he was not even able to sleep properly.
