Rajasthan Local Body Election Result: Tough fight between Congress and BJP in Rajasthan civic elections, independent parties also showed strength

Rajasthan Local Body Election Result: There is a direct contest between Congress and BJP in the civic elections of Rajasthan. But meanwhile, the performance of independent parties is also looking much better. Counting of votes is underway in 10,245 wards of 309 urban bodies. In the results so far, BJP appears to be at the forefront. At the same time, Congress also seems to be performing better in many big cities.

In the results so far, BJP has been victorious in 3475 wards. At the same time, 2954 wards are visible in Congress's account. Independents have shown their strength by winning 1965 wards. But the most shocking picture is of BSP and Left parties. BSP has won 13 wards and CPI(M) 36 wards. At the same time, information about victory in 55 wards of RLP, 8 of BAP and 10 of AAP has come to light. Amidst the fight between BJP and Congress, small parties have registered their presence in the urban politics of Rajasthan.

BSP and Left showed strength

The number of seats of BSP and Left parties in the civic elections may be much less than that of BJP and Congress, but the political importance of these results is very high. Especially the 36 seats of CPI(M) decide that the local organization of Left parties is still present on the ground in some areas of Rajasthan. In the civic elections, each ward is being fought on local issues. In such a situation, a party winning several wards continuously indicates the presence of its local cadre and organization.

15 counting rooms were prepared

Counting is going on in Jaipur Municipal Corporation and 18 other urban bodies of the district at Shri Bhavani Niketan College of Pharmacy. A total of 15 counting rooms have been prepared to ensure smooth completion of the vote counting. 150 counters have been made here. With the counting of votes here, the picture of which party is dominating in all the major urban bodies of the state including Jaipur is becoming clear.

Election of Mayor and Chairman

After the results of the civic elections, now the focus is on board formation. There is election for Mayor and Chairman in the state on 21st September. On September 22, the selection of Deputy Mayor, Deputy Chairman and Vice Chairman of Municipal Bodies will be held. In such a situation, the role of independent councilors is going to be very special in the bodies where BJP and Congress are far from majority.
