‘UP is moving from Bahubali to bio era, said- Defense Minister Rajnath Singh; Big revelation on Operation Sindoor

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh participated in the ‘Bioyug’ program organized in Lucknow on the occasion of World Environment Day. During this, while mentioning ‘Operation Sindoor’, he said that after the dastardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India gave a befitting reply. Indian forces, in joint action, targeted and destroyed the terrorist structures present in Pakistan.

Addressing the program, the Defense Minister said that the high morale of the Indian forces and indigenous defense capability were the main reasons behind this success. We were able to do this because we had indigenous weapons and we were not dependent on any other country. We will have to achieve the same capability in the field of energy, fuel and technology also, so that our country does not lag behind in comparison to other countries.

Biofuel strength of self-reliant India

The Defense Minister said that environmental protection is not a matter limited only to cleanliness, but it is also directly related to national power and security. He said that clean and healthy environment further strengthens the morale of the soldiers. Along with this, credit has also been playing an important role in nation building.

The Defense Minister said that when the country produces energy from its fields, crops and biological resources, then it becomes even stronger against external pressures. He further said in his address that there is a need to diversify energy sources, promote domestic production and develop supply chains based on indigenous resources.

Mixing up to 20 percent ethanol in petrol

Rajnath Singh He said that currently India is blending up to 20 percent ethanol in petrol, which is mainly prepared from sugarcane and agricultural products. “This 20 per cent ethanol was like a buffer for us, which saved the economy from a major shock.

Biofuel is not only a means of environmental protection but also an important weapon for national security and economic stability. Let us tell you that during the huge crisis in West Asia and the huge surge in global oil prices, the same ethanol mixture which we made from sugarcane and agricultural products proved to be a strong security shield for India.

Government expanding bioplastic industry

Rajnath Singh also discussed the prospects of bioplastic industry in Uttar Pradesh. He said that the bioplastic industry policy of the state government is giving new impetus to this sector. Referring to PLA (Poly-Lactic Acid) based bioplastic prepared from sugarcane, he said that it is completely biodegradable, which can prove to be an environment-friendly option.

He said that conventional plastic has become a “necessary evil” today, but through bioplastics this evil can be made nature-friendly.

Uttar Pradesh moving towards bio era

Rajnath Singh said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Bio-economy has got a boost in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of. Along with increasing the income of sugarcane farmers, there has been considerable expansion in the field of agro-based industries. The global supply chain was slightly affected during the recent crises in the Middle East, causing many plastics industries to face raw material shortages.

If India continuously increases the production of bioplastics from sugarcane and agro-based resources, then foreign dependence will reduce and both the economic security and position of the country will be strengthened. He further said that Uttar Pradesh is now moving beyond ‘Bahubali era’ towards ‘Bio era’. Where both environmental protection and self-reliance are progressing along with development.
