A felicitation ceremony was organized on the 77th death anniversary of Mangal Viar on Friday under the aegis of freedom fighter Mangal Viar Smriti Seva Trust, Kusumhan. In the program, former president of Tehsil Advocate Committee Ghorawal, Ram Anuj Dhar Dwivedi, was awarded the honorary title of 'Son Ratna' for his excellent work in the field.
The chief guest of the program was Ghorawal MLA Anil Kumar Maurya and the special guest was Sunil Kumar Choubey, District President of Kisan Morcha. The function started by laying wreath and offering floral tributes at the Mangal Viyar Memorial. The speakers shared important information related to the life and contribution of Mangal Viar in the freedom struggle.
Trust President and event organizer Mohan Lal Viar honored MLAs Anil Kumar Maurya, Ram Anuj Dhar Dwivedi and Sunil Kumar Choubey by garlanding them with corsets, mementos and certificates. At the same time, two people who have done excellent work in the field were awarded honorary degrees. Ram Anuj Dhar Dwivedi was given the title of 'Son Ratna' by MLA Anil Kumar Maurya and Trust President Mohan Lal Viar.
On this occasion, the family members of Mangal Viyar were honored by presenting them with Angavastra. The chief guest also presented a copy of the Indian Constitution to Mohan Lal Viar. As part of the programme, a Tiranga Yatra was taken out on Thursday.
At the function, Mahesh Chauhan, Sharmanand Yadav, Mahesh Viaar and other artists presented patriotic songs and filled the atmosphere with patriotism. The program was conducted by Mohan Lal Viar.
On this occasion, a large number of people including Surendra Maurya, Manish Patel, Sitaram, Umesh Kumar, Anita Devi, Phoolchand, Shyam Sundar were present.
