Hyderabad: Ram Charan has officially announced that his much-anticipated film Peddi will hit theatres on June 4, delighting fans across the country.
The actor took to social media to confirm the release date just a day after the film’s shoot was wrapped up. Sharing the update, he wrote, “Meet #PEDDI on June 4th. See you in Cinemas.”
Shoot wrapped after intense schedule
The film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, has completed its shooting schedule, marking a major milestone for the production.
Celebrated cinematographer R Rathnavelu shared the update earlier, calling it a “memorable journey” and praising Ram Charan for both his on-screen intensity and off-screen camaraderie.
He expressed gratitude for the collaboration, describing the actor as a “powerhouse performer” and a dependable friend.

Final song promises a spectacle
Reports suggest that the last leg of filming involved shooting a grand special song in Hyderabad.
The track, composed by Oscar-winning maestro A. R. Rahman, is expected to be a high-energy number with elaborate choreography, large-scale sets, and a surprise element designed to thrill audiences.
Sources indicate the song could become a major chartbuster upon release.
Makers delayed release for quality
The film’s production house, Vriddhi Cinemas, had earlier confirmed that while the talkie portions were complete, one final song remained.
The makers chose to push the release to June to allow more time for post-production, ensuring top-notch visual and technical quality.
They emphasised their commitment to delivering a superior theatrical experience, stating that extra time would help technicians bring out the best in the film.
