UP Congress Party shared the video on its official X-post and wrote that media coverage has been banned inside the police barricading in Ayodhya Ram Mandir Complex. The party raised the question, what is there to be afraid of? If everything is transparent, why is the independent media being prevented from reporting?

The party wrote that the role of media in a democracy is to ask questions to the government and not just show government propaganda. If only a few selected cameras get access and the rest of the journalists are banned, then it does not appear to be transparency but an attempt to control information.

Said that the BJP government should understand that journalists who ask questions are not the enemies of democracy, but are its strongest foundation. Banning the media will not end the questions, but will deepen the doubts.

Ram temple is the center of faith of crores of devotees. Therefore, every arrangement, every decision and every activity taking place there should be accountable to the public. In democracy, answers are given through questions, not through restrictions.
