In the confidential diary, many questions have been raised regarding the role of Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Misra and his recent statements. According to media reports, this diary of Champat Rai contains sequential details of the events from June 18 to the next few days. It is written in the diary how Nripendra Mishra changed the language from his initial statements during consecutive media interviews in Delhi. His use of words like 'robbery' for the incident of theft sent a negative message to the society. After this, when the saints asked Champat Rai whether Nripendra Mishra was playing the role of a villain, at that time Champat Rai had no answer to this question.
According to the diary, from June 18, Nripendra Misra started giving interviews to television channels in Delhi and spoke to about 14 channels in four days. Initially Nripendra Mishra used to say that his responsibility was limited to the construction work of the temple, but later the language of his statements changed.
The word 'dacoity' for theft
Nripendra Mishra used the word 'dacoity' for theft. Champat Rai wrote in his diary that such statements sent a bad message to the society. After this, public statements of Nripendra Misra suddenly stopped from 23rd June. Questioning this, it has been written in the diary that the reason must be found?

Sometimes decisions were taken sitting together
It is claimed that Nripendra Mishra had started separating himself from the arrangements of the temple about six months ago. His focus became limited to construction works only. Earlier, small and big issues related to construction and arrangements were discussed in detail in the meetings between the two. Even if there were differences, efforts were made to reach a consensus after several rounds of talks. It is claimed that later Nripendra Mishra started maintaining distance from the Trust, saying that the matters related to the arrangements were within the jurisdiction of the Trust. Now this distance is visible in the form of institutional tension between the Trust and the Committee.
Slow pace of construction work and payment crisis of agencies
Serious concern has also been expressed in the diary regarding the ongoing construction works and arrangements in the Ram Temple complex. The delay in payment has come to light due to the increasing distance between the Trust and the Construction Committee. Salaries of employees of more than a dozen agencies engaged in cleanliness, sewerage-drainage and other important arrangements in the temple premises have been pending for months. Due to non-receipt of payment on time, the pace of other important projects including boundary wall and auditorium has slowed down considerably, due to which the purchase of construction material has also been affected.
