Ram Mandir: Owaisi angry over manipulation in donations, said such a big thing about the government

The case of alleged donation theft in Ram temple of Ayodhya has now turned into a big political storm. There was a lot of stir ever since financial irregularities came to light in the internal audit of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, but now all-round politics has started on this issue. On one hand, there is preparation for strict action by the investigating agencies and administration, while on the other hand, opposition leaders are making sharp attacks on the government and the trust regarding this issue.

A new twist in this entire controversy came when Hyderabad MP and AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi entered the matter. Owaisi has taken a sharp taunt by raising questions on the manner of action of the government.

Preparation of FIR against 6 people and Owaisi’s sharp taunt

In fact, many important recommendations of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing this alleged scam have been accepted. It is being told that an FIR will soon be lodged against the 6 people found guilty in this case. The administration seems to be in a mood to take a strict stance in this matter.

But meanwhile Owaisi’s statement has added fuel to the fire. Taking aim at the working style of the Uttar Pradesh government, he said, “I don’t know, we are just waiting to know when the FIR will be filed? And whose house will be demolished after the FIR is registered? Will bulldozers be used on the houses of the accused or will bullets be fired?” Owaisi did not stop here, he further said that you have done everything on the basis of faith, now will this theft also be tolerated on the basis of faith? This has to be decided by the government now.

Trust’s big decision and VHP’s displeasure

Meanwhile, in view of the continuously arising questions, Ram Mandir Trust has also prepared for major changes in its administrative structure. To ensure transparency, a consensus has now been reached on the appointment of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in the Trust. It is believed that this step has been taken to strengthen the monitoring of financial matters.

On the other hand, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), which was associated with the Ram Mandir movement at the forefront, has also expressed deep displeasure over this entire incident. VHP has termed this alleged misappropriation of temple donations as extremely sad and unfortunate. The organization believes that such negligence or disturbance at this holy place associated with the faith of crores of devotees is not acceptable under any circumstances.

What is Ram temple donation theft case?

Actually, this whole controversy started when some discrepancies were found in the matching of donations and offerings coming to the Ram temple. After this, considering the seriousness of the matter, SIT was formed. The SIT had recommended strict action in its investigation report, which is now being implemented. However, as the legal noose is tightening, the politics on this issue is also becoming more heated. Opposition parties are directly linking this to the failure of government protection and management.
