Ram temple offering stolen: Confidential document file of firm, trust worth crores recovered
Lucknow. The investigation into the Ram Temple offering theft case is no longer limited to just the disappearance of money from the donation box. During the 39-hour marathon interrogation of the accused Ramshankar Yadav alias Tinnu and his nephew Manish Yadav, who were taken on police remand, such clues were found which have changed the direction of the investigation. On the behest of Tinnu, a file full of confidential documents of the trust has been recovered, while the firm with a business worth crores of rupees, running in the name of his wife, has also come under the scanner.
The police have also found vehicles on the spot of both the accused. Now a thorough investigation of financial transactions, trust related documents, land records and the entire network has been started. Investigating agencies believe that many more big revelations may be made in this case in the coming days.
Firm formed in wife’s name, business worth crores
During interrogation it was revealed that a firm named ‘Soundarya Construction’ was formed in the name of Tinnu Yadav’s wife Poonam Devi in the year 2023. Investigation revealed that the firm got work worth about Rs 47 lakh in the very first year. In the next year its turnover increased to Rs 1.39 crore, while later it showed a turnover of Rs 1.03 crore. Information about cash GST deposited of Rs 25 lakh and Rs 18 lakh respectively in both the years has also come to light. Now the police is finding out whether the contracts and financial transactions received by the firm have any connection with the theft.

Trust’s confidential file found on Tinnu’s notice
During remand, police recovered an important file on the behest of Tinnu Yadav. According to sources, many confidential documents related to Ram Mandir Trust have been found in the file. These include details of lands purchased for the temple complex, compensation and other administrative records. Investigating officials say these documents indicate that Tinnu had access to insider information despite not holding any official position in the trust. Now it is being ascertained how these documents reached him and who played a role in it.
Interrogation lasted for 39 hours, raids at many places
During remand, the police interrogated Tinnu and Manish Yadav continuously for 39 hours. At around 2:30 pm on Saturday night, the police reached Swargadwar Mohalla and hostels in Durgapuri with both the accused, where a search operation was conducted. During the interrogation, the investigation team got hold of many important information and documents.
Bullet and Ertiga cars also recovered
On the trail of both the accused, the police have also recovered a Bullet motorcycle and an Ertiga car. According to sources, there is also talk of finding some cash during the operation, although the police has not officially confirmed it.

Remand over, now focus on economic network
After completion of police remand on Sunday night, preparations were made to send both the accused back to judicial custody. At the same time, the investigating agencies are intensifying the investigation of the recovered documents, bank accounts, financial records of the firm and digital evidence. Investigating officers believe that the matter has become more serious after the recovered files, confidential documents of the trust and the firm with a turnover of crores of rupees came to light. Now the focus of the investigation is not just on offering theft, but on the entire economic network, contacts and flow of money linked to the trust. Many more big revelations are expected in this matter in the coming days.
