Rao Bahadur’s release date postponed, Mahesh Babu’s supported film will now hit the big screen on this date

Hyderabad. Mahesh Babu’s production house GMB Entertainment has announced a new release date for its upcoming film ‘Rao Bahadur’, starring Satya Dev in the lead role.

This psychological thriller film directed by Venkatesh Maha was earlier scheduled to release on June 5, 2026. The makers of the film have now postponed the film and have set a new release date of July 3, 2026.

On Saturday, the makers of the film shared a new poster of the film on social media along with the announcement. The caption of the post read, “A new date. A memorable cinematic experience. #RaoBahadur in theaters worldwide from 3rd July 2026. RAO BAHADUR /. Remember – ‘Doubt is a devil’.”

The teaser of Mahesh Babu Productions’ much-awaited film ‘Rao Bahadur’ was released last year. It was shared by SS Rajamouli and it gives a glimpse of a dark and mysterious world. The film has been described as a “psychological drama” with a touch of mystical realism, which promises a unique cinematic journey.

Earlier, the makers of the film had also released the first-look poster of the film. In the poster, Satya Dev was seen in a royal style, surrounded by peacock feathers and decorative items. In this, children were also seen hanging from their clothes and moustaches, which added a unique style to the scenes.

This film is directed by Venkatesh Maha and presented by Mahesh Babu. This project is being supported by Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s GMB Entertainment.

Earlier, the first look of the film was released. In the poster, Satyadev was seen dressed as a king, surrounded by peacock feathers and other decorative items. In this, children were also seen hanging from Satyadev’s clothes and moustache, which added a funny touch to the story.
