19Actress Rashmika Mandanna is going to return to work soon after taking a break for some time to recover from the hip injury she suffered during the shooting of her upcoming film ‘Maisa’.
Almost a month after revealing about her injury, the actress has now shared an update on Instagram saying that she will soon resume her professional duties.

30-year-old Rashmika Mandanna has shared a glimpse of the time she spent at home during her recovery. From performing Rashmika puja, playing with her dog, solving puzzles and relaxing in her garden, the actress gave fans a glimpse of her simple holidays. Sharing several pictures and videos on Instagram, the Cocktail 2 actress admitted that though she is eager to get back to work, she will miss the time spent at home with her loved ones. She wrote, “I’m going back to work soon, and I’m definitely going to miss all of this!”
Maisa was injured in the shooting
Rashmika’s injury came to light in July, when reports came that she had suffered an injury during the shooting of the film ‘Maisa’. On August 3, Rashmika confirmed the injury by writing a detailed post on social media and explained about the incident. He told that four nerves connecting the hip to the leg on the right side were broken and they would take time to recover. According to Rashmika, this injury occurred during a dance shoot of the film ‘Maisa’, which she described as her most challenging film till date.
“The actual injury is that there are four tendons on either side of your hip that connect your hip to your leg and a tendon in my right hip was apparently severed and I have to reattach it to be able to lift my leg up and do other things, and this incident happened during my dance shoot for Maisa,” she wrote. Let us tell you that before the injury, Rashmika was working on many projects simultaneously. Now she will be seen in the film ‘Maisa’. This film is an emotional action thriller based on the background of the Gond community. Her other film is ‘Ranbali’ in which she is paired with Vijay Deverakonda. This Telugu period drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan is based on the British period. The film is going to be released in theaters on September 11.
