What did Ashwin say about Rohit-Virat?
Former Indian veteran spinner R Ashwin recently gave a big statement regarding Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli on his YouTube channel ‘Ash ki Baat’. Ashwin said, ‘As long as Rohit and Virat want to play, no one can touch them.’ This is because of his record. Rohit has scored almost 12 thousand runs, it is not easy to get him out. Taking his point further, Ashwin said that another big reason is that a large number of spectators come to the field to watch both of them play. Questions raised on Rohit’s place due to continuous flops
In the first two matches of the three-match ODI series played against England recently, Rohit Sharma was not able to do anything special and was out after scoring only 11 and 26 runs. After this performance, questions started being raised about his place in the team. After the second ODI played in Cardiff, a report claimed that Rohit will play his last international match on July 19 at Lord’s. However, in the third and last ODI match, Hitman gave a befitting reply to the critics by scoring 138 runs in 110 balls.
Rejected speculations of retirement
After playing a historic inning at Lord’s, Rohit Sharma gave a statement about his future and rejected the news of retirement outright. During this, Rohit said that my focus remains on performing on the field. I don’t care what happens outside. During this, Rohit said that the noise should continue. If there is no noise it will not be fun.
