Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will continue with Andy Flower as their head coach for IPL 2027, as the franchise prepares to build on its recent success under his leadership.
Flower took charge of RCB ahead of the 2024 season, bringing extensive coaching experience to the franchise. Under his tenure, RCB secured their maiden IPL title in 2025.
With Flower continuing at the helm, RCB will head into IPL 2027 with a familiar coaching structure as they look to maintain consistency and strengthen their squad for the upcoming campaign.
The franchise will now focus on its preparations for the new season, with Flower and the support staff working on squad planning, player development and the team’s overall strategy for IPL 2027.

RCB Head Coach For IPL 2027
Former Zimbabwe cricketer Andy Flower will continue as the head coach of the RCB for the IPL 2027 season. Under his guidance, RCB won the back-to-back titles in the IPL 2025 and 2026 seasons.
Andy Flower joined RCB as the head coach for the IPL 2024 season, replacing Sanjay Bangar. With an improvement in the team’s performance, Andy Flower secured his position as IPL 2027 RCB head coach.
IPL 2027 RCB Batting Coach
Former RCB cricketer Dinesh Karthik has been appointed as the RCB batting coach for the IPL 2027 season. Karthik, who played for RCB, announced his retirement after his team’s defeat in the IPL 2024 Eliminator.
Dinesh Karthik returned to RCB in IPL 2022 and became one of the fan favourites in his last three seasons with the franchise.
Dinesh Karthik made his IPL debut in the inaugural edition of the tournament and never skipped an IPL season. In his career, Dinesh Karthik has played 257 IPL matches and scored 4842 runs at a strike rate of 135.36, which includes 22 half-centuries.
He also worked as a batting consultant for England Lions in January 2024 and worked as Mentor & batting coach for London Spirit for the 2026 season.
IPL 2027 RCB Bowling Coach
Omkar Salvi has been retained as the bowling coach of the RCB men’s team for the IPL 2027 season. Joining the side on November 18, 2024, he played a crucial role in the back-to-back title wins in the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
He worked as a bowling coach for Mumbai between 2015 and 2022 before joining KKR as an assistant coach between the 2022 and 2024 seasons. He also worked as head coach for Mumbai between the 2023 and 2026 seasons.
