RCB vs GT: RCB created history in Dharamshala, scored the biggest total in the history of IPL playoffs by scoring 254 runs.

IPL 2026 RCB vs GT Qualifier 1 1st Inning Highlight: The first qualifier match of IPL 2026 is being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) in Dharamshala. Where RCB has created history under the leadership of Rajat Patidar. Actually, in this match against Gujarat, Bengaluru scored 254 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. This is the biggest score so far in the playoffs in IPL history. Before this, no team has been able to touch the figure of 250 in the IPL playoffs.

Earlier, Gujarat captain Shubman Gill won the toss and decided to bowl. Captain Rajat Patidar played the biggest innings for RCB, who came to bat first. RCB hit a total of 38 boundaries in Qualifier-1 against Gujarat Titans on May 26 in Dharamshala. Due to this, this record was in the name of Chennai Super Kings. In the year 2012, Chennai hit a total of 33 boundaries in the playoff match against Delhi Capitals.

Rajat Patidar played captaincy innings

In this important match, captain Rajat Patidar played the biggest and explosive innings for RCB. He scored 93 runs in 33 balls with a strike rate of 93. He played this explosive innings with a strike rate of 281, which included 5 fours and 9 sixes. Earlier, Virat Kohli scored 43 runs in 25 balls with the help of 5 fours and 1 six. At the same time, Krunal Pandya also played an inning of 43 runs. Initially Venkatesh Iyer scored 19 runs. On the other hand, Jitesh Sharma remained unbeaten after scoring 15 runs in 5 balls.

Gujarat Titans bowling was disappointing

In the first qualifier match of IPL 2026, Gujarat Titans bowlers gave away a lot of runs. Mohammed Siraj scored 46 runs in 3 overs, Kagiso Rabada scored 54 runs in 4, Jason Holder scored 39 runs in 4 and Prasidh Krishna spent 53 runs in 4 overs. If we talk about wickets, Kagiso Rabada and Jason Holder got 2 wickets each and Prasidh Krishna got 1 wicket.
