RCB vs GT: Triple century of sixes in IPL, will Kohli join Gayle-Rohit’s club?

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is now nearing its halfway mark. Today (April 22), the 34th match of the season is to be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, in which Gujarat Titans (GT) will challenge Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). In this match, Virat Kohli has a golden opportunity to achieve a special achievement. Kohli will complete 300 sixes in IPL as soon as he hits a six against GT.

So far he has hit 299 sixes in 265 innings. As soon as he hits a six, he will join the club of Chris Gayle and Rohit Sharma. Till now only Gayle and Rohit have been able to complete triple century of sixes in IPL. Caribbean legend Gayle has hit 357 sixes in 141 IPL innings, while Rohit has hit 310 sixes in 271 IPL innings.
