Real reason of Nana Patekar's death revealed, revealed in post mortem report

Mumbai: The postmortem report that came out after the death of veteran Indian cinema actor Nana Patekar has made clear the real reason for his death. The official autopsy report released by the expert panel of doctors of Goa Medical College (GMC), Bamboli, has made it clear that the death of 75-year-old Nana Patekar was completely natural and the cause was a massive heart attack. According to medical information shared by Panaji Police, Nana Patekar was suffering from Coronary Artery Disease (CAD).

Due to this disease, a blood clot suddenly formed in the main artery supplying blood to his heart and due to this the heart stopped getting blood and oxygen, as a result of which he suffered an acute heart attack and died. When the body was taken to Goa Medical College, Bamboli, a formal Panchnama was conducted there in the presence of family members and witnesses. After this, the panel of senior doctors completed the postmortem process and submitted its report to the police.




  • What happened to Nana before his death?

    The timeline of the last few hours of the night of Nana Patekar's death has emerged in the police investigation. At around 2:30 in the night, Nana Patekar felt nervous and chest pain in his flat in Dona Paula. He sent a message on WhatsApp to his close friend Amey Naik and told him that he was not feeling well at all. Due to it being late at night, Ameya Naik saw this message after about an hour. As soon as he read the message, he immediately ran to his grandfather's Dona Paula flat.

    When I opened the door, I saw Nana Patekar lying unconscious. Then around 4:30 am, Amey Naik immediately arranged for an emergency vehicle (ambulance) from the nearby Manipal Hospital with the help of the caretaker and Nana was taken to Manipal Hospital in a critical condition, where the doctors declared him brought dead. At 5:30 in the morning, the hospital administration gave official information about the death of Nana Patekar to Panaji Police.

    Statements of son Malhar and nephew Prasad Patekar recorded

    Considering the seriousness of the incident, Panaji Police conducted a detailed investigation of the matter. Police have recorded the statements of Nana Patekar's son Malhar Patekar and his nephew Prasad Patekar. Police officials clarified that both the family members, in their testimony, have completely rejected the possibility of any kind of conspiracy, untoward incident or suspicion. At present, the statutory paperwork in this case is being completed under the leadership of Panaji Police Inspector. After this report came out, now all those speculations which were going on on social media for the last two days have come to an end.
