Royal Enfield records highest ever monthly sales in September 2026. The company sold as many as 1,33,958 motorcycles in a month. The figure was 1,24,328 units in September last year. So this year the total sales have increased by 8%. The company reached this new milestone with the increase in exports along with the domestic market.

In India, Royal Enfield sold 1,21,326 motorcycles in September. Domestic sales increased by 7% compared to last year’s 1,13,573 units. On the other hand, exports saw further acceleration. The company shipped 12,632 bikes overseas, a 17% increase over last year.

In the first 6 months of FY2027 from April to September 2026, Royal Enfield sold a total of 7,09,096 motorcycles. This is an increase of 20% compared to 5,91,903 units in the previous financial year. Domestic sales accounted for a large share of this. Sales in India reached 6,42,021 units, a growth of 23%.

But exports declined by 5% during this period. During April-September, the company exported 67,075 motorcycles. However, strong performance in the domestic market maintained a significant increase in overall sales.

Royal Enfield also launched the Himalayan 440 in September. Launched at the Himalayan Basecamp event in Ladakh, this adventure motorcycle is powered by a 443 cc long-stroke engine and a 6-speed gearbox. The response after the launch exceeded the company’s expectations.

As a result almost 6 months of bookings for Himalayan 440 have been completed and new bookings have been temporarily stopped. Bookings will resume once additional production capacity becomes available.

The company also introduced the Classic 350 Signature White variant in September. It gets features like premium brown touring seats, assist and slipper clutch, adjustable clutch-brake levers, USB Type-C fast charging and Tripper Pod.

Meanwhile, Royal Enfield’s electric brand Flying Flea has entered Europe in Paris, Barcelona, ​​Rome, Berlin and London. Deliveries are planned to start from October 2026. Therefore, along with petrol bikes, the company will see expansion in the electric segment as well.
