If you have forgotten your Aadhaar number, now it can be recovered through SMS also. For this you will have to send an SMS to 51969 from your registered mobile number.

The message format will be like this: UID . Keep in mind that no space should be given between the name and the same name should be written which is registered in Aadhaar. Also, it is important to enter the correct PIN code.

For example, if a person’s name is Ram Kumar and his PIN code is 110001, then he has to send SMS like this: UID RAMKUMAR 110001

A few seconds after sending the SMS, a reply will come on your mobile, in which your Aadhaar number will be sent. This facility will work only on that mobile number which is linked and registered with the Aadhaar card.
