Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G— Smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has today officially introduced Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G, expanding its popular Redmi Note series in India. This new 5G smartphone lineup was launched today at 12 noon, which will be sold through Amazon India, Xiaomi online store and major retail stores across the country.

Snapdragon processor and special color changing design
Launched with the intention of strengthening the mid-range segment, both these phones have different processors. Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, while its top-end variant Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G uses the more powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor.
Talking about the design, Redmi Note 17 Pro Max has been introduced in 'Secret Sunrise' shade, on the back panel of which photochromic material has been used. This technology changes the color of the phone as soon as it comes in contact with sunlight or UV light. Whereas the Standard Pro model comes in lavender color. For strength, both the smartphones have received water and dust resistant ratings like IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K, as well as TÜV SÜD 5-Star Titan quality certification.
The truth about the claims of 10,000 mAh battery
Amid rumors of a massive 10,000 mAh battery doing the rounds on social media, as per the official retail listing the phone comes with silicon-anode battery technology, which should provide better battery life while keeping the weight and thickness of the device balanced.
