Redmi Smartphone Launched: Tech company Redmi has launched another new 5G smartphone in the global market. This smartphone of the company has been launched with the name Redmi 17C 5G. Earlier, the company had launched Redmi 17 4G and Redmi 17 5G devices. Now the company has launched this smartphone in Singapore. This budget friendly smartphone has been launched in the market with a large display, powerful battery and 5G connectivity. The company has not announced any information about when this smartphone will be launched in the Indian market.

The smartphone has been launched in Singapore at a starting price of S$279 i.e. around Rs 19,000. Customers can buy this smartphone in Black, Brown and Purple color options. The brown variant has a 'vegan leather' finish. Xiaomi has not yet announced the price and launch date for India and other markets. Talking about the features and specifications of Redmi's new smartphone, this phone has a 6.9 inch LCD display with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels. This phone will also get refresh rate support up to 120Hz. It has a normal brightness of 660 nits and up to 810 nits in HBM mode. The smartphone also gets DC dimming and TÜV Rheinland certification for eye safety.

For performance, the new Redmi smartphone will get MediaTek Dimension 6300 processor. This smartphone will also get 64GB and 128GB storage options along with 4GB RAM. The RAM in the phone can be increased up to 8GB through memory expansion. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD card.

For photography, the smartphone has a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back, with an aperture of f/1.8. The phone also has a secondary lens. The phone's camera has features like HDR, night mode and portrait mode. Also, video recording can be done up to 1080p at 30fps. The smartphone has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. The front side will also get a soft-light ring with HDR, portrait and night modes.
