Mumbai | 30 April 2026: Reliance Retail Limited (RRL) today is a world famous actress and entrepreneur Priyanka Chopra Jonas has announced the acquisition of Anomaly, a global haircare brand. The historic deal includes all of the brand’s trademarks, assets and digital platforms. The acquisition will expand Reliance Retail’s fast-growing beauty portfolio, reinforcing its commitment to making world-class brands widely available in India.
The journey and characteristics of the ‘Anomaly’ brand
Priyanka Chopra founded the brand ‘Anomaly’ in 2021. The brand is primarily known for its ‘clean’, ‘vegan’ and high performance haircare products. By providing world-class products at very reasonable prices, the brand has established its own identity in the international market within a short span of time.
Strategic strategy of Reliance
With this acquisition, Reliance Retail now owns the entire intellectual property of Anomaly. Reliance will use its vast retail network and digital commerce platforms like ‘Tira’ to bring the brand to the doorsteps of Indian consumers. Reliance will focus on locally innovating these products keeping in mind the hair and skin concerns of Indian consumers.
