Crash Test: Renault Duster returns with 5-star safety, performs brilliantly in Bharat NCAP

Crash Test: The new Renault Duster has done wonders since its entry in the Indian auto market. This SUV has received a 5-star safety rating in the latest crash test by Bharat NCAP, which makes it one of the safest vehicles in its segment. With a starting price of ₹ 10.49 lakh, this SUV has emerged as a strong option for the customers.

Strong performance in crash test
The new Duster has achieved excellent scores in both the key safety parameters.
Adult Occupant Protection: 30.49 points out of 32
Child Occupant Protection: 45 points out of 49
However, this score is slightly lower than the Kia Seltos, which scored 31.70/32 points in adult safety.

Adult Safety: Strong Body Structure
In the frontal offset test, the driver’s chest and legs got ‘adequate’ protection while the head and neck got ‘good’ protection. Protection for the co-driver was recorded as ‘good’ in all areas. At the same time, in the side impact test, Duster achieved an excellent score of 16/16, which shows its strong body and better crash protection.
