Supaul: A review meeting of district level technical officers was organized under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Sawan Kumar on Friday in Lahtan Chaudhary Auditorium located at the Collectorate. In the meeting, the progress of schemes and development works of various departments operating in the district was reviewed.
Executive engineers of Road Construction Department, National Highway Division, Rural Works Department, BUDCO, Building Construction Department, Local Area Engineering Organization, Electricity Supply Department, Minor Water Resources Department, Top Work Division, Eastern and Western Embankment Division and other work divisions were present in the meeting.
While giving instructions to all the departmental engineers, the District Magistrate said that all the development schemes being run in the district should be completed in a quality manner within the stipulated time limit.
He especially directed the Road Construction Department to get the damaged roads repaired immediately, so that the common people do not face any problem in transportation. In view of the possible flood, the officers of the Eastern and Western Embankment Division were instructed to strengthen the security arrangements of the embankments and keep special vigil on the sensitive places. The District Magistrate said that all necessary preparations should be completed before the monsoon, so that prompt action can be ensured in case of any disaster.
