Horrific road accident in Tirupati, one child died, 30 people injured
Road Accident In Tirupati: A horrific road accident occurred in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. A two-year-old child died in the accident, while about 30 passengers were injured. A lorry and a passenger bus collided head-on on the Cuddapah-Chennai National Highway near Udumvaripalli in Pullampeta mandal. After the accident, there was chaos on the spot and many passengers got trapped inside the bus. Police and relief teams immediately launched a rescue operation and took the injured to the hospital.
Direct collision between lorry and bus full of passengers
According to the information, a lorry coming at high speed and a bus full of passengers collided head-on on the Kadapa-Chennai Highway. The collision was so severe that the front part of the bus was badly damaged and many passengers were trapped inside.
As soon as information about the accident was received, police, ambulance and disaster relief teams reached the spot. Rescue workers pulled out the trapped passengers and admitted them to Rajampet Government Hospital. According to officials, the condition of many of the injured remains critical and their treatment is ongoing.
Jam on highway, traffic affected
After the road accident, there was a huge jam on the Cuddapah-Chennai Highway, due to which the traffic was disrupted for some time. After this, police and administrative officials removed the damaged vehicles from the road and normalized the traffic.

Police have registered the case and started investigation. In the initial investigation, the possibility of high speed, driver’s negligence or other technical reasons is being considered. Officials say that the real reason for the accident will be revealed after the investigation is completed.
