Ambedkar Nagar. In the third and final match played on Saturday, Doctor’s XI defeated Medical Representative XI Ambedkar Nagar by 61 runs. The Medical Representative captain won the toss and decided to bowl first. Accepting the invitation, Doctor’s XI scored 172 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 16 overs.
Dr. Amod contributed unbeaten 68 runs on 40 balls and Dr. Vimal contributed 58 runs on 22 balls. Prashant Singh took two wickets for Medical Representative XI. While chasing the target, the entire team of Medical Representatives was all out for 111 runs in 12.1 overs. Prateek scored 40 runs and Gaurav scored 32 runs. For Doctor 11, Dr. Utkarsh took 4 wickets and Dr. Vimal took 3 wickets. The main objective of the competition was to provide awareness about traffic rules to all the people.
Player of the match was awarded to Dr. Vimal, Player of the series and best batting award was given to Dr. Amod and best bowling award was given to Dr. Utkarsh Singh. Dr. SM Baqir and Ajay Srivastava played the role of commentators in the match. Sports lovers including Dr. GD Verma, Dr. Chandrabhan Prajapati, Dr. Pravesh Verma, Dr. Sajan Vishal Singh were present on this occasion.
