Robert Pattinson breaks silence on ‘The Batman II’ production halt

DC Studios announced production pause on ‘Batman II’ filming

Robert Pattinson has finally commented on the unfortunate pause on the Batman Part II filming.

Directed by Matt Reeves, the upcoming sequel was being filmed in a full swing with its behind-the-scenes pictures surfacing in the internet a few weeks earlier.

Earlier in October, DC Studios announced that the filming of the much-awaited movie has come to a pause due to some issue that the director has to deal with on an urgent basis.

In a statement, the studio mentioned, “Production on The Batman Part II has been temporarily paused while Matt Reeves focuses on a family matter.”

The studio further stated that the DC studios will be providing full support to the filmmaker during the time. “Matt has the full support of DC Studios and we look forward to continuing the journey soon.”

The lead star Pattinson has also now addressed the matter at the BFI London Film Festival, where he said, “We’re pausing for a little bit … and then we are going to figure it all out.”

The Twilight star marked his debut as Batman in the 2022 film. He is all set to reprise the role in upcoming sequel, which is set to release in 2028.

The Batman Part II will feature Robert along with Andy Serkis, Jeffery Wright, Colin Farrell, Sebastian Stan and Scarlett Johansson.
