Royal Enfield’s electric bike brand Flying Flea has now entered Hyderabad. The company has opened 4 outlets in the city to sell and service its Flying Flea FF.C6 electric motorcycle. Hyderabad has become the brand’s second market in India after Bengaluru. The bike is priced at ₹ 2.79 lakh ex-showroom, with the battery-as-a-service (BaaS) option starting at ₹ 1.99 lakh.
Sales and Service Network in Hyderabad
Flying Flea’s network in Hyderabad is divided into one company owned store and 3 partner outlets. Special technical support will be provided at the company store on Erragadda Main Road. While Taurus Motors in Vanasthalipuram, Bolt Motorcycles LLP in Hitech City and SVR Motors in Kondapur will have regular servicing facilities. The system will provide separate facilities for general servicing and critical technical work.

The Flying Flea FF.C6 is powered by a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. According to the company’s claim, this bike can run up to 154 km on a single charge. It has a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor that delivers 15.4 kW of power and 60 Nm of torque. Power goes to the rear wheel via a 2-stage belt drive. The bike has a top speed of 115 kmph and takes 3.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph. It takes about 65 minutes to charge the battery from 20% to 80% via a standard 16A socket.

This electric motorcycle gets a 3.5-inch circular TFT touchscreen, Google Maps navigation, phone-as-key and wireless phone charging. Lean-angle sensitive traction control and dual-channel ABS are offered for safety. Apart from this, it also gets geofencing, anti-theft functions and SOS feature.

The bike has a forged aluminum exoskeleton chassis, a magnesium alloy battery casing and a girder-type front suspension. After the expansion in India, the company has also started selling this bike in Europe and UK.
