Royal Enfield has been working on its all-new adventure tourer motorcycle, the Himalayan 750, for a very long time now. We recently came across a set of images in which we saw the production-ready version of the Himalayan 750 motorcycle up in the mountains. It looked like the bikes were being ridden in the mountains as part of an official photoshoot or ride ahead of their launch. We now have a video in which we see the same motorcycles on mountain roads in multiple colours.
There are multiple videos of these motorcycles available online, and the one seen here is from a YouTube channel called Bullet Guru. In this video, we see a bunch of Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 motorcycles parked on the side of the road. The motorcycles are the same as those seen in the images that were circulating online.
One of the motorcycles is finished in a Maroon or Deep Red Metallic shade with yellow stripes or graphics. The lower half of the motorcycle, especially the metal frame, is finished in black. The next motorcycle is finished in an off-white shade with triple-coloured stripes running at an angle across the fuel tank. We also see these motorcycles from different angles in the video. We get a clear look at the front of the motorcycles, and from the new angle, it is clear that they were riding as a group, with multiple motorcycles parked on the side of the road.
Apart from the red and off-white motorcycles, we also see a matte grey-coloured motorcycle. There is a fourth motorcycle, but its colour is not clear in the clip.
The motorcycles seen here are of two versions. One of them comes with alloy wheels, while the other gets cross-spoke wheels with tubeless tyres. Earlier, Royal Enfield offered tubeless cross-spoke wheels as an accessory, and it needs to be seen whether the same will be the case with the Himalayan 750 or whether the company will launch two different variants for different kinds of users. People who want a proper off-road adventure-ready motorcycle could go for the spoke rims, while those who want an adventure tourer could opt for the alloy wheels.
The motorcycle appears to be production-ready, and the overall design looks like that of any other adventure motorcycle in the segment. The design is a mix of the current Himalayan 450 and the original Himalayan 411. It gets a tall design that suits the adventure tourer character of the bike.
At the front, the motorcycle comes with a round headlamp with LED lighting. There will also be a Royal Enfield logo in the centre of the light. The motorcycle will come with split seats and a Himalayan 450-like integrated tail lamp and turn indicator setup.
The motorcycle also gets an upswept exhaust with a black tip. As we already know, the motorcycle is based on a new platform and uses a new engine as well. It comes with features such as cruise control, ride-by-wire, dual-channel ABS, and traction control. The motorcycle seen here gets a single-pod instrument cluster with a TFT display. It is expected to support Bluetooth connectivity and maps, along with other notifications.
The Himalayan 750 will be powered by a 750cc twin-cylinder engine. While the official numbers are not out yet, this engine is expected to generate around 55 PS and 65 Nm of torque. It will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle is expected to be launched in November this year and is expected to be priced in the Rs 4-5 lakh price bracket.
