RSS-BJP Brainstorm In Vizag: Sangh To Debate Modi Government's Development Model Ahead Of Key Polls

Vizag: The top brass of the RSS and around 31 “Sangh-inspired” affiliates, including the BJP, will gather in Godilova near Vizag and hold a three-day brainstorming session from today on better coordination.

Besides, BJP chief Nitin Nabin, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and other important leaders including Dattatreya Hosabale and other central office bearers will attend the Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak.

Development Model, Governance and Future Roadmap on Agenda

According to sources, the three-day event will primarily discuss the fundamentals of development — probably the model BJP government has followed over the past 12 years, ever since Narendra Modi became Prime Minister.

The discussion assumes significance at a time when Sangh affiliates Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and Swadeshi Jagaran Manch have questioned the labor codes introduced by the Modi government and voiced criticism on the Indo-US trade talks.

Meeting Comes Ahead of Political Challenges and Changing Equations

The meeting comes amid Gen Z protests, shifting political equations after Jantar Mantar demonstrations and Mohan Bhagwat's call for youth aspirations. It also precedes what could be BJP’s biggest electoral test next year — the Uttar Pradesh polls.

Sources said the three-day meet will also deliberate on a fundamental question: What should our model of development be, and what should be our concept of development.
