RSS expressed grief over the demise of Nand Kishore Goenka, said – made cow service and social service the resolution of life.

Knews Desk- Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has expressed deep sorrow on the demise of senior social worker Shri Nand Kishore Goenka, father of Essel Group Chairman Dr. Subhash Chandra. The Sangh said that Nand Kishore Goenka ji dedicated his entire life to cow service, social upliftment and works in national interest.

96-year-old Nand Kishore Goenka ji died on Monday afternoon at his residence in Mumbai. On Tuesday, his mortal remains were brought to his ancestral residence in Hisar, Haryana, where a large number of people reached and paid tribute to him. His last rites will be performed in Hisar on Wednesday at 11 am. At the same time, preparations have also been made for his last farewell in the Goenka garden located in Agroha Dham.

Mohan Bhagwat and Dattatreya Hosabale expressed grief

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale issued a condolence message on the demise of Nand Kishore Goenka ji and said that he remained associated with cow service and various social works throughout his life. He prayed to God that the departed soul may rest in peace and the bereaved family may get patience and strength in this difficult time.

PM Modi also paid tribute

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also written a letter to Dr. Subhash Chandra and expressed condolences on the demise of Nand Kishore Goenka ji. PM Modi said that the life of Nand Kishore Goenka ji was an example of hard work, simplicity and social service. Along with giving direction to the family business, he also fulfilled his responsibilities towards the society with full devotion.

The Prime Minister said that his life, inspired by the spirit of service and the ideas of Nation First of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, will remain a source of inspiration for the coming generations. His demise is an irreparable loss to the society.

Played important role in the development of Agroha Dham

Nand Kishore Goenka ji was born on 28 September 1930 in Hisar, Haryana. He lived his life with the principles of simplicity, service and social responsibility. Despite coming from an industrial family, he devoted most of his time to social service and religious activities.

He had an important contribution in the construction and development of Agroha Dham. He was one of the main founders of Agroha Dham. Due to his visionary thinking, Agroha Dham got recognition in the country and abroad.

Active contribution in social and religious works

Nand Kishore Goenka’s contribution in the social, religious and educational fields of Hisar was also very important. He was the patron of Shri Devi Bhawan Mandir Gaushala Trust and the president and patron of Shri Vaishnav Agrasen Gaushala.

Due to his demise, there is a wave of mourning in the Essel family as well as in social organizations, Vaishya Samaj and religious institutions. The life of Nand Kishore Goenka ji, known for his simplicity, humility and spirit of service, will always inspire people.
