Fearing Russian missiles, thousands of civilians took shelter in various metro stations in the city to save their lives. Huge devastation in residential areas
According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, heavy damage was recorded in about 30 locations in the city. The attack mainly targeted residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. Interior Minister Ihor Klimenko said at least 20 residential buildings were badly damaged across the city.

Ukraine demanded air defense
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiha described this night as ‘Night of Terror’ Stating this, he has appealed for immediate help from the international community and its allies. He requested the allied countries not to delay the supply of missiles and defense systems to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense system.

Sibiha further said that Ukraine is exercising its right of self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter and that the Russian attacks cannot be justified in any way.
