According to latest reports, Russia has planned to target 11 different international targets. A warning has already been issued regarding these targets, due to which concern and tension has increased significantly at the global level.

In the message issued by the Kremlin, a warning has been given to those countries which are directly or indirectly helping Ukraine. Deputy head of Russia’s Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, gave a sharp statement on social media and sarcasticly advised European countries to “sleep peacefully”. His indication was clear that the countries where weapons or drones are being made for Ukraine can now come under the scope of Russian attacks.

‘Hitlist’ of 11 countries increased the stir

The names of many major countries are said to be included in the so-called ‘hitlist’ released by Russia. These include countries like United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Spain, Italy and Netherlands. Apart from this, names of Türkiye and Israel have also been claimed to be in this list. Russia says that these countries have become “strategic support bases” for Ukraine, from where weapons and technical assistance is being provided.

The inclusion of Turkiye’s name in the list particularly attracts attention. Apart from being a NATO member, Turkey is also a Muslim majority country, which has till now tried to maintain a balance between Russia and Ukraine. But Russia alleges that such factories are working in Turkey which are producing drone parts for Ukraine.
