Five-storey building collapses in Delhi’s Saket, fear of death of many people, rescue operation underway
Saket Building Collapse: A five-storey building collapsed in Saket area of Delhi on Saturday evening. It is feared that many people may be buried under the debris. Rescue teams are currently engaged in relief work at the incident site. According to the fire department, they received information about the incident at 7:45 pm. A DFS official said, “We have sent four fire tenders to the spot and details are awaited.”
Along with local administration, Delhi Police and fire department, emergency medical team is also present in the rescue operation. Rescuers are searching for people trapped under the debris. Nearby residents and shops are being evacuated to safe places.
