Karisma told that during the shooting of the film, there was an argument between her and Salman regarding clothes. Karisma was very excited about her look and fashion, but Salman did not like her outfit.
Karishma told that Salman had asked her what she was wearing. To this Karishma replied that she had worked hard on this outfit. After this Salman clearly said that he will not give a shot with her in that look. Karishma, imitating Salman in the show, narrated this entire incident in a funny manner.
The actress further told that when Salman remained adamant on his point, she had to go to the film's director David Dhawan. Karishma complained to him saying that Salman was not allowing her to wear that outfit and she should talk about this matter. When Karan Johar asked whether Salman found her dress too bold, Karisma told that the dress was very short, transparent and clinging to the body.
After this Salman Khan gave his clarification on this entire matter. He told that he had no problem with Karishma's dress being short, but the dress used to slide up while dancing. Pointing towards his thigh, Salman said that the outfit used to come up till the top during the dance. For this reason, he used to ask Karishma to take down her dress before every take.
Salman also told that Karishma's outfit was quite transparent and the team including her hairstylist also took care of this. Hearing Salman's clarification, Karishma interrupted him and said, “Stop it, don't talk nonsense.” However, Karisma also admitted that Salman was very protective of her at that time.
