Despite prohibition in Bihar, the process of bringing liquor from other states is not stopping. In Samastipur, Railway Protection Force (RPF) has caught a woman with a consignment of liquor from the First AC coach of Swatantrata Senani Express. It has come to light that about 75 liters of liquor has been recovered from the woman's luggage. RPF has taken him into custody and started interrogation.
According to the information, Swatantrata Senani Express was going from New Delhi to Jaynagar. Meanwhile, RPF received secret information that a consignment of liquor was being brought to Bihar through train. Based on the information, the team searched the first AC coach of the train. During the investigation, several bottles of liquor were recovered from the woman's luggage.

Branded liquor found in bag
According to RPF, the recovered liquor included brands like Red 6900, Paper Teacher and Blenders Pride. A total of around 75 liters of liquor is said to have been found. The estimated price of the liquor is being assessed. After recovery, the woman was taken into custody and interrogated. RPF is trying to find out from where the woman had purchased the liquor and to whom it was to be delivered to in Bihar. In the investigation, information related to the purchase of liquor and its potential buyer is being collected.

Smuggling continues despite liquor ban
There is a ban on sale and consumption of liquor in Bihar. Despite this, attempts to bring liquor from other states and deliver it to Bihar have been continuously coming to the fore. Smugglers use different means for this like car, bus, truck, and train. This action taken in Samastipur was also taken on the basis of special information received by RPF. Now the investigating agency is busy finding out where the liquor consignment came from and to whom it was to be handed over in Bihar. Only after further investigation in the case, information about other people involved in smuggling and the total price of liquor will be revealed.
