He alleged that Rahul Gandhi was making claims in Parliament without facts, using unparliamentary language and trying to demoralize the security forces by saying misleading things about them. In a press conference held in Delhi, Sambit Patra said that Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has made it clear several times by showing the rule book that ‘Idiot’ The word is unparliamentary and cannot be used in the House. Counterattack on Rahul’s statement about convoy of 30 vehicles

He also questioned Rahul Gandhi’s claim in which he had said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had arrived with a convoy of 30 vehicles. Sambit Patra said that today I challenge Rahul Gandhi to come with us and count the vehicles. Tell me where was Amit Shah’s convoy of 30 vehicles? Can a person who cannot sit inside the House for five minutes, stand outside and count the vehicles?

Patra said that he does not think that even the Prime Minister’s convoy has 30 vehicles. This is completely false. Amit Shah is such a leader whom even Naxalites fear. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he worked hard day and night to free the country from Naxalism. Those who took action against the Naxalites who were responsible for hundreds of murders are not people who fear anyone.

Accusation of switching off microphone in the House rejected

Sambit Patra also rejected Rahul Gandhi’s allegation that his microphone was switched off in the House. He said that I was present in the House. Sambit Patra also rejected the statements of Congress leaders in which it was alleged in the Parliament that the security forces tore the clothes of the girls. He said that this is a completely wrong and false allegation. Our armed forces and Central Armed Police Forces guard the borders of the country and protect the identity of Mother India. Standing in Parliament and saying that he tore the clothes of girls is extremely inappropriate and a serious matter.

He said that such allegations demoralize the security forces. Patra said that some leaders, who were not in the Congress earlier and joined the party later, have earlier also made allegations of rape of women against the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir and the North-East. He appealed to all political parties not to create such a narrative which weakens the morale of the country’s security forces.
