Patna: Bihar has got a new Chief Minister. Samrat Chaudhary took oath as Chief Minister today, Wednesday 15 April. Immediately after taking oath, a clear message was given that the path of development in the state will remain the same as it was before.

After taking the oath, Samrat Chaudhary took a meeting of the officers. In the meeting he said, “Rest assured, only the model of Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar will work in Bihar.” He stressed that work for the progress of Bihar will start from today itself.

Samrat Chaudhary said that as soon as he assumes the post of Chief Minister, he will pay full attention to the development of Bihar. His clear message was that there would be no change in the old policies and model of development.

Oath of the post of CM as well as the post of minister

Samrat Chaudhary is BJP MLA from Tarapur. He had been Deputy CM in the previous government of Nitish Kumar. Today, along with him, senior JD(U) leaders Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Bijendra Prasad Yadav took oath as Deputy CM. This is the first time that a BJP leader has become the Chief Minister of Bihar.

On Tuesday, BJP elected Samrat Chaudhary as the leader of the legislature party. The swearing-in ceremony took place at Lok Bhawan, where the Governor administered the oath of office and secrecy.

Nitish Kumar congratulated

Former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar congratulated Samrat Chaudhary. He wrote, “Under your leadership, Bihar will develop faster and will be included among the most advanced states of the country.” Nitish Kumar had recently resigned from the post of Chief Minister.

Samrat Choudhary laid emphasis on development

Samrat Chaudhary told the officials that all the departments should immediately start working to make Bihar stronger. He indicated to move forward by combining Modi ji’s national development model and Nitish Kumar’s state level reforms.

There has been a political change in Bihar with the formation of the new government, but there will be continuity in the direction of development. Samrat Chaudhary’s first statement is to speed up the development works and live up to the expectations of the public.
