Technology Desk: Samsung has launched its new budget smartphone Samsung Galaxy A07s in select global markets. The company has introduced it in two storage variants and three color options. The phone is currently available for sale on Samsung's online store in Jordan. The new phone has a 90Hz display, MediaTek Helio G99+ chipset, 50MP rear camera and 5,000mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy A07s price
The price of 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the phone is JOD 119 i.e. around Rs 16,000. Whereas, the price of 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model is JOD 149 i.e. around Rs 20,000. The phone can be purchased in black, green and light violet colors. Currently it is being sold in Jordan. The company has not yet given information about when the phone will be launched in India.
6.7 inch 90Hz display
Samsung Galaxy A07s has a 6.7 inch HD + PLS LCD display. Its refresh rate is up to 90Hz. The display supports 16.7 million colors. The phone has received IP54 rating to protect against dust and water splashes.
Equipped with Helio G99+ chipset
For performance, the phone has been provided with MediaTek Helio G99+ octa-core processor. It has six efficiency cores working at speeds up to 2.0GHz and two performance cores working at speeds up to 2.2GHz. The phone has the option of 64GB and 128GB storage with 4GB RAM.
50MP dual camera
For photography, Galaxy A07s has a dual rear camera setup. Its main camera is 50MP, which comes with f/1.8 aperture. The camera supports autofocus and digital zoom up to 10x. A 2MP depth sensor is provided with it. The phone has an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The phone can record 1080p video at up to 30fps.
5000mAh battery
Samsung Galaxy A07s has a 5,000mAh battery. The phone has a USB Type-C port for charging. Overall, Galaxy A07s has features like large display, 90Hz refresh rate, 50MP camera and large battery. However, official information regarding its launch in India is still awaited.
