The style of Samsung’s foldable phone is changing, new ‘Wide’ 5G smartphone will be launched in the market, powerful features leaked
New Delhi. Samsung, the largest, leading and influential company in the tech industry, is preparing to make a big bet in the foldable smartphone market. According to reports, the company is working on a foldable 5G phone with a short and wide ‘Wide’ form-factor for the first time, leaving its traditional Narrow design. This new device when unfolded will give users a great look and feel like a mini-tablet.

7.6-inch main display and new look
This upcoming smartphone will have a 7.6-inch main LTPO AMOLED foldable display supporting 120Hz refresh rate. Along with this, a 5.4-inch wide cover screen will also be available outside the phone. Due to this wide shape, typing and running apps will become very easy even when the phone is folded.
Snapdragon’s most powerful processor
This phone is going to be a beast in terms of functionality. It will be provided with Qualcomm’s latest and powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. For excellent multitasking, the phone can get up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. This device will work on the latest Android 17 and Samsung’s One UI 9, in which many new Galaxy AI features will also be available.

Camera and battery will also be strong
Camera: It is expected to have a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor for photography on its back panel. For selfies, 10MP cameras can be found on both the screens.
Battery: Despite the thin design, a 4,800mAh dual-cell battery supporting 45W fast charging can be provided.
When will it be launched and what will be the price?
According to market experts, Samsung can present this ‘Wide’ edition at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2026. Due to the premium features and new design of this smart phone, its starting price in India is estimated to be around ₹ 1,99,999.
