Sanjay Dutt’s reacting during 1993 Arms Act verdict revealed

Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt suffered a tumultuous phase in life off cameras when he was linked to the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.

The actor’s life was marred with legal woes when he was accused of being involved in the bombings and linked to the prime suspects.

While he was acquitted by the Special TADA Court in association to the bombings, the court convicted him for illegal possession of weapons under the Arms Act.

Years later, special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam has shared what happened inside the court room.

Speaking to LallantopUjjwal revisted the day when the verdict was announced.

He recalled “When the judgment was delivered, he was trembling. He kept saying, ‘No sir, I didn’t do anything wrong, sir. I will come back.’ He was virtually shaking.”

“I was standing nearby and told him, ‘Sanju, the media is watching, please stand straight.’ Then I asked the police to take him away.”

The actor completed his prison sentence and was released in 2016. Since his release, he has worked in many projects.
